Cops Throw the Book at Punk Who Brutally Sucker Punched a Total Stranger (Video)

Police are not going lightly on a punk who sucker punched a man in a restaurant parking lot.

Surveillance video showed the victim walking when a man ran from behind and hit him in the back of the head, knocking the victim out cold. The attacker then walked away from the scene.

The incident happened about 1 a.m. on Sept. 24 at Ruchi’s Mexican Grill in Rosenburg, Texas, KPRC reported.

Police identified the attacker as Alejandro Maldonado, 18, the Houston Chronicle reported. Maldonado reportedly had no prior arrests.

Maldonado turned himself in one day after the police asked for the public’s help in finding him.

Police booked Maldonado for felony aggravated assault. He is being held at the Fort Bend County Jail and his bond has been set at $25,000.

KTRK reported that the 30-year-old victim suffered serious head injuries and spent several days in the hospital.

This attack appeared to be part of the dangerous, and sometimes deadly knockout game,” which has gained popularity in the past.

Lt. Chad Pinot told the Houston Chronicle that there was no altercation inside the restaurant between Maldonado and the victim before the attack.

Hopefully, officials will throw the book at this punk, who seemed to have no problem attacking this man, knocking him out cold, and leaving him unconscious in a parking lot.

It makes you wonder what kind of person does such a thing.

This situation highlights a growing epidemic in our country where young people show no respect for life, which is a sad statement about our youth.
